It is with great honor that I welcome you to your Reiki Master Certification Class. My name is Shellee Rae and I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher, initially trained in the traditional Usui method. I’ve been teaching Reiki since 1998 and have been certified to the master level in many other energy modalities. The word ‘Master’ refers to ‘teacher’ in Reiki. Please remember that neither you, nor I, have mastered Reiki. Rather, we are stepping into our Mastery, growing/evolving. We have invited this energy to dissolve our fear and move forward into the Light. This class remains true to the tradition of Usui Reiki, while placing the greatest emphasis on direct experience. It is through and with this direct experience that the true path of Reiki Master for you will be shown. We will meet via zoom and take 10 to 15 minutes for the attunement and then some extra time available to answer questions that may have come up while watching the recorded class. May the Reiki knowledge and the tools you learn today support you on your healing path. I look forward to meeting with you and to your brighter presence in our collective consciousness.
